Daedong started the Daedong-USA, Inc KIOTI Tractor division in 1993. Daedong has been around for well over 70 years. Daedong's main focus in the USA is growing the Kioti brand. Daedong is a major supplier in the world today making products for Bobcat, Mahindra, MCCormick, Cub Cadet, and many other major names. With Daedong being around for well over 70 years, and being selling tractors in the USA for over 30 years, you can be assured they will be here in the long run. Kioti makes all their own machines from front to back, and supplies all their own parts to back them up for years to come. 

Question: Are Kubota and Kioti Tractors the same thing?

  • Answer: Kubota and Kioti tractors really have no relationship. Kioti tractors are made by Daedong in South Korea while Kubota tractors are made in Japan. The real only similarities they share are being a similar orange color, and both being machines that are fully made by themselves. Kioti/Daedong had worked with Kubota before they were an established USA corporation. Kioti/Daedong was contracted to build certain tractor parts for Kubota for a few years. Since this contract ended multiple decades ago there really has been no connection between the two companies.
